After some time of trying to figure out how to rework my film. I was able to rework my idea! Now Mission will focus on the Travel Reset Movement and following their journey of trying to make a big impact as the travel and volunteer industries begin to start back up. Each episode will showcase a popular voluntourism community, where we will see the effects of the pandemic and the voluntourism as it came to a halt. We will be looking into multiple perspectives between the community, the voluntourism companies and the project coordinators. Putting together whether or not the work the volunteers were doing before was helpful or needed and what the plans are for future of the voluntourism within that community.
